Pie Mask is my shmup iPhone video game. I programmed it using C++ and OpenGL ES 1.1. Some Objective-C is used to interface with the iPhone. I used Python to generate game levels and font textures. I used these 3 books to learn video game programming: Game Coding Complete, Game Engine Architecture and iPhone 3D Programming. The game engine uses a fixed physics time step with linear interpolation. The events system uses C++ STL containers. The full version has 30 levels and the lite version has 12 levels. This game is no longer available in the app store.
